Starbucks downtown on a Monday night

Paulista Avenue..."Wall Street" of Latin America

Paulista Avenue is not only the home for many
international and Brasilian banks, but it's also home
to over 100,000 Paulistas! The video crew spent
Wednesday morning getting video of people,
the metro, buildings and traffic, but mainly
people!

Interviews!

Ricky, Mary and John have spent the entire week
interviewing missionaries, missionary kids,
and students. They're getting stories of what God
is doing here in Sao Paulo through Zoe.

Journeyman missionary Chris Black
Hands On semester missionary Sean Nestor
Hands On semester missionary Colby Sledge
They even interviewed Melody!

Video crew at Senac

One of the campuses of Senac University is just minutes
from our neighborhood. Chris B, Sean and Colby have
made a lot of friends on this campus.
I really like this picture. It shows 3 different conversations.
Colby is with a new friend. Lu and Chris are talking.
Then, the Ricky, Mary and John interview Daniel.

Chris B and Colby at Senac

Chris B, Sean and Colby hit the Senac University
campus almost everyday during the week. At least
one of them is on campus each day building friendships
just by hanging out, going to classes and eating lunch.
These guys are vital to Zoe and are committed to
sharing Christ wherever they are, on campus
and off campus. Good guys to have in Sao Paulo!

Let there be LIGHT! or maybe fire?!

So, what do you do when the power goes out in 18 states of
Brasil, Paraguay and even your own neighborhood?
BONFIRE!
Christian and Victor decided to make light
last night around midnight in the backyard.
First 2 pics are without the flash.

It was a bit unnerving tonight in Sao Paulo...

The power is back on now but for 6 hours, it was dark!
One of the nations largest dams quit functioning
leaving the entire state of Sao Paulo plus 14 other
states and the country of Paraguay in the dark!
It is now just after 4:00 am and our lights just
came on. Millions were stranded after work and
classes at school. The metro shut down leaving thousands
looking to the busses to get home.
